Start up Issues?!
 

Ive been having problems with limewire starting up, it starts to load ok, however as soon as main screen loads it locks up and hangs for maybe 1-2 minutes, and the system becomes unresponsive, (ie wont even start task manager). After 1-2 minutes, it finished loading and is fine!

Now this wasnt happening last week and I have no idea as to why this is happening.

Ive run all the following and all are up to date.


AVG - ok
Spybot 1.4rc - ok
Adaware 1.5 - ok
MS Antispyware Beta - ok
Spyware Doctor - ok
Norton Systemworks 2005 - ok
Tune Up utilities 2004 - ok

NB: Running Windows XP Pro

Latest version of java (1.5) is installed and working properly. Reinstalled both limewire and java to check this and still no help. Only several small programs have been installed, and have since been removed to check if it was a compatibility issue. However this has still not resolved it.

Any Ideas? Thanks for any thoughts that people may have, and for taking the time to read this!

Athlon 64 3400+
1GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce GO 5700 64mb Video

Running Windows XP Pro, fresh install.

Limewire 4.8.1

Tried Fresh install of both java and limewire and neither has helped.
