Default Limewire UI is a graphic?

Ever since I downloaded limewire, i noticed how dramatically slow my pc is, and how slow it loads all other graphics in parallel with Limewire. For example if I were to play half-life or something, or even browse webpages with graphics, it would still be inefficient in comparison without Limewire. What I noticed is that with my new graphics cards (evga 6800gt) I turned on AA and AF both x4 for my video games, and when I started Limewire, it was entirely anti-aliased, slowing down my pc even more. My question is whether there is a way to load up the UI of Limewire without having the graphics base. Like I want Limewire to run in a windows interface manner rather than generating a graphically enhanced UI. If this is possible please assist, and if not, I would like some feedback and experiences other users have had. Thanks in advance.

(Maybe there is a non-java version?)
