not getting good search results

With all due respect, please read Sticky's guidlines for good forum usage. We need all general systems info for as broad a question as this.Things to consider:
Are filters being applied to limit returns(check tools/options/search) by quality or file type? If so remove the restrictions.
If you have a slow modem you may need to wait more than a few minutes for results to return.
If you are looking for obscure cult films or rare live audio clips, some of us heavy p2p users have also experenced declining numbers of search returns and slow DL speeds, and have discussed it in these forums. Look for them if you are interested.

you need to upgrade your equipment. if you can't afford to buy new, investigate how you might upgrade your existing equipment. how much more ram can you stuff into it? will the processor upgrade and to how much? how much will a bigger hd cost?

do you have boot sales in arizona (you may call them garage sales)? talk tekkie with your friends and find out what you can do.

with your current setup speed will be disappointingly slow, requiring patience. if you set up your downloading to take place while you sleep, this will render the process less painful.
