![]() Hey, Latley ive been gettin alot of random ips trying to connect to me threw port 6346.. turns out thats the limewire port which is for mmm connecting and stuff but the problem is my client is offline.. this has been annoying me because the client is offline my firewall is considering this an illegal connection and im getting security msges every 5 seconds.. but now i have a rule to block them all its not as annoying but theres still a problem and a concern.. why are clients trying to connect to me anyway? if it wasnt for my firewall would they be connecting and getting my files? does anyone else have this problem? how can it be stoped? it never used to happen so why is it now? |

![]() I would recommend Peerguardian: http://peerguardian.methlabs.org/pg2.html (FREE) which will help filter out known organisations that try to access thru port 6346. Also see Organisations trying to connect via Port 6346 |
