playlist issue

For some reason when I am in the library and I highlight a song to put in the playlist, the option of --> to playlist doesn't even come up, and so I have no way to add anything to it.... could someone help me out? THANKS a million in advance :-)

You use the Enqueue button to put a song into the playlist. Make sure you have Continuous ticked before you play it. Use the play button to play it, launch button is not used for the playlist.
