Post startup problems

So, I have a problem (obviously). When starting limewire, it just gives me the loading screen and sits there, taking up what task manager tells me is generally 90-99 of the CPU.

Specs are-

3.2 GHz 64 bit AMD Athlon CPU
Nvidia GeForce 5800 vid card
A gig of RAM

I've updated java, re-installed several times, gotten video card drivers, turned AA and AF to program specific, nothing helps or even changes the problem. I've also done lots of virus checking, but no help there either.

Ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem. When I start up limewire it gets to the box where it asks if I want to upgrade to Pro and then goes to Not Responding and I have to crash out of it.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled newer versions of both limewire and Java and still no improvement...and it was working fine yesterday.

I'm having the exact same problem. I get the splash screen and it just sits there.

Actually the Splash Screen is all white, even that wont load.

I've spent the last 2 hours on the forums here. I did the port fix, deleted the .limewire folder, and even the Java thing with no results.

FYI I have used LW twice since I installed it. I also "repaired" it and did 2 full reinstalls.

Can anyone help?
