Unhappy can't close LW

hi,

i have a really strange problem:
i close LW, without any problems. but then, a few seconds later, it starts again and i can close it 1000 times but it starts again and again...

does anyone know what i have to do?

did you set the 'shutdown immediately' option in Options->Shutdown

what operating system are you using? Are you using LimeWire to handle e.g. magnet links?

i am using windows xp.
what is a magnet link...?
i am downloading music, movies and software

magnet links are similar to weblinks. If you click one of them, it should start LimeWire.

Make sure LimeWire isn't in your autostart folder.

hit ctrl-alt-del and kill all LimeWire and java processes.

And if nothing else works, try renaming the LimeWire folder in your "program files" directory to e.g. "LimeWire2". Whatever was starting LimeWire should not be able to find it anymore.
