My comp. semi-freezes a few min. after Limewire begins

My computer will freeze after about 5-10 minutes of using Limewire...I can still move the mouse but I can't do anything. Is this Limewire or my comp that is causing this?

However LimeWire usually doesn't cause computers to lock up. What version of Windows and java are you using?

I'm not sure cause Limewire installed java when I installed Limewire (latest version limewire).

Then try uninstalling Java using your add/remove programs control panel. Then install java 1.4.2 Sometimes Java 1.5 doesn't behave well on some people's systems. Get Java 1.4.2 from here: Java 1.4.2 (click on link) (But it is preferable if you save the java to your computer & then install it; don't install it over the net!)
