LW shuts down Internet!

When I run LimeWire I am able to use the program normally for like 1-10 minutes... after this period of time, for no reason LimeWire will dissconnect (and attempt to re-establish connection), and also dissconnect my computer from the Internet. I am not able to get on the Internet from any means, and the only way to fix the problem, is to close LW completely, and then power-cycle my modem. I am using Windows XP, and my conection goes through a router... I am not very smart/good at router stuff (if thats the problem), so if anybody can help at all, please let me know... If any more Info is needed it will be avaiable. Please help me!

well, then your router is not set up correctly, LW has some problems right now, but it shouldnt kick you off the net, you need to call you ISP and find out the DNS address and the gateway for your connection, then go into your router and put those in for a more stable connection .

Thanks, I'll give it a try, and tell you how it goes...

just remember to type in 192.168.1.1 to enter the router and default password is admin unless you changed it .

ok, I just got off with my ISP, and they said that all of that is cofigured by their servers... IDK what to do...
