limewire is a gnutella network client/server, when you download a file such as an mp3 from the network, this makes you a client, you are getting this file from a server. while this file is downloading, it is being saved to your "incompletes" directory. once the download is completely finished, it is saved to your "saved" directory (which you should be sharing). once you have the file, it is yours, you can do with it virtually whatever you want to do. you can play it perhaps, or even burn it to a cd.
learning how to use new programs and applications such as limewire may take some patience, but after a few times of using it and exploring its features, you will become skilled enough to 'power use' limewire. it doesnt take much time to be that power user of limewire. it just takes patience. |
