Limewire won't open
 

I've searched the forums, the FAQs and any q+a thread posted on these boards and I've not found anything to answer my question, so please excuse this.

I've downloaded Limewire recently to find that it simply won't open. A white box flashes on the screen for about a half second, and after that, nothing happens.
Program manager doesn't recognise that I have attempted to open at all. Installation went smoothly but I've not been able to start setup on it yet due to this problem.

I run my computer on 16 colours - the onboard graphics card apparently does not exist since I updated to Win2000 and it's too old to have the right "port" size to fit a new graphics card onto. Is Limewire heavily reliant on its graphics as interface, and this is why I can't run it? Or is there another reason users can think of?

I do not think so but there have been some issues with graphic setting. You might check out the thread below you may have already looked at it but if you haven't it might help.
