Starting a new thread will not help.

Go back to the original thread and say that granpa's suggestion did not help you and you might get some more feedback. Posssibly add some more specific details. Any thread goes to the top of the list when there is a reply.

BTW sorry -I can't help (Mac user) .... but I took several minutes trying to find out what you were on about. Most forum users will not bother.

Only A Hobo is right starting a new thread will slow down the proses. You should post back in the same thread tell what you tried and and give all the information you can. Generally we start with the most common fixes. If that doesn't work then we will have you try other things. Remember we are not sitting in front of your computer so the better description you give of your problem and hardware the better chance of fixing it.

OS, Windows 98/2000/XP
CPU, P4 3.0 GHz/AMD 64 3200+Ghz
Memory, 256MB/512MB
Connection, Dial-up/DSL
LimeWire Version 4.8.1/4.9.11
Java Version 1.4.2/1.5.4
Graphic card & Platform Radieon/Nvidia
Are you using a router, Brand/Model#
What firewall you use if any
What Antivirus if any
Are you new to LimeWire or Experienced
An accurate description of your problem

Please reply in the original thread.
