Alright, so, whenever I have a song playing on Limewire, and have it just opened, everything else minimized--it sounds great, but as soon as I open up a MSN messenger window, or internet explorer, it starts to skip and sound bad, like its a CD and it has a scratch on it... Is this just my computer, or does everyones LimeWire do this?

you will get much better results if you use a different player. iTunes, Winamp or something like that .... you were lucky. Whenever I used Limewires's player it ALWAYS sounded rotten! You will need to dissable Limewire's mp3 player in the preferences, and the songs will then play through your default player for the file type.

i think the LW mp3 player should only be used to preview files.
