Default Pro Problems

I have tried Pro 4.9.23 and Pro 4.9.26. Both keep disconnecting during downloads and when it does stay connected the downloads stop before complete and then say need more sources. I have went back to the version with the least amount of problems for me, Pro 4.8.1. The problem now is the pop up window keeps asking me to upgrade to the newer version. I see no way in the options to turn off the window telling of the newer Pro version. Any one know how to stop the newer version prompt?

LimeWire is working, sort of. I can download and speeds are fast with no disconnects. But now I can not browse a host, no way no how. 4.8.1 there were no problems trying to browse a host. What gives? Any ideas? Help!!!!!!!!

Default More Pro Problems

I don't really know where to post this or if anybody really reads these. The new Pro 4.9.28 has the same old problems as the early versions, disconnecting and downloads stopping, turbo dropping to good then back up. I went back to 4.9.27 Pro which seems to work GREAT. If anyone is reading this, you had a good thing, what happened?

Well I noticed our first post but you had lots of rep...... oh They were all from you!
I guess you were just thinking aloud and I wouldn't have wanted to interrupt you.

I turn my back for two minutes and .28 is out! No idea what the difference is!

Your point about browsing hosts is one that was raised elsewhere. It is happening to me quite a bit with 4.9.27, but I wonder if this just appears to be a problem as you often get a Zero completed search, instead of in the old days getting absolutely nothing except an error message which I dissabled.

Default Me Think?

Hobo, sometimes I do think out loud . With 4.9.27 I don't have any problems trying to browse a host. None with 4.9.28 either. For some reason 4.9.28 is like a lot of the earlier versions in that the downloads stop and start, the connection was unstable, and it would freeze. Pro 4.9.27 works like a charm, so I went back to it.
