Mac OSX is a little different, .limewire is a file. Whereas on windows & mac os 9, it's a folder called .limewire so this folder is what you want to delete. The next time you open LW, it will create a fresh .limewire preferences folder. Sometimes the contents of this folder become corrupt or it just freshens up LW by deleting it. |
I deleted the .limewire folder but it still does not work!!! |
Do you get any search results to show up at all? Try an Any type search. If you keep the search criteria simple/general, you'll get more results. |
nah i get plenty of search results its just that nothing comes up in the boxes on the left hand side. i found it much better when stuff came up in the artist and album boxes |
1 Attachment(s) Under an Any type search, filter it. Under media, select Audio. Then you'll see the separations of artist & album. But why you're not having any success with an audio type search I'm not sure. Perhaps your searches are too specific. |
I deleted the whole .limewire folder and now it works a treat :D Cheers guys!!!! |
I only deleted the one folder. It didnt work so i just shutdown limewire and opened it back up and it worked!!:) |
