limewire freeze up
 

when i use limewire, after a while limewire freezes up my computer. and i scanned my comp for viruses, none found. when i morpheus its the same way, but when i use kazaa my comp dont freeze. what the hell is wrong with limewire

so, can someone help me out here?

just so you know, im am runnig

windows xp home edition SP2
Pentium 4
3.0 gHz
768mb Ram

do i need more ram to run this?

ok im patching right now. and gonna run lime for alittle bit, and will tell you if it freezes up

well so far, limewire hasnt froze up on me. i used the sp2 patcher. what did the patch thing do? cause morpheus dont freeze up on me either. lime and morpheus were the only two programs that froze up my computer.

no wait. it froze up on me, damnit. i even tried it on a freshly install comp of winxp. and it still freezes up

could it be my ethernet driver that is freezing my computer?
im connected to a router at 100mbps. but here is the funny part. i pluged my usb cable into my modem and connected directly and limewire hasnt froze my comp. i disabled my ethernet and connected trough the usb cable at 10mbps
