cit problems, help?! In order to keep the network healthy and functioning, CIT has implemented a system that identifies computers that are overflowing the network and removes them. This removal is triggered by exceeding any of the following: * 500 connections per hour * 112 megabytes of outbound (uploaded) traffic per hour * 225 megabytes of inbound (downloaded) traffic per hour Note that only the amount of traffic is considered, not the type. CIT does not block, limit, or track individual usage based on content (gaming, file sharing, etc.) If i exceed any of these criteria, i get kicked off until i can do some steps (web based) manually to get back on(20 min later). Is there a way to limit these? i found the up/download limiter, but i still go kicked off. My roomate and i would love the help. |
You can limit the upload and download speed... from options but I don't know anything about the connections part... |
