Very good point ukbobboy01!, some dvd players on the market can play VCDs but not SVCDs. |
:) O.K. at last I got it I didn't know needed to push one on the remote control in order for the thing to work but I got it and thank you so much for all your help. Have a good weekend. cmc |
You might find a little more information form this link. http://www.videohelp.com/vcd also search the forums here for "videohelp" |
As ukbobboy01 suggested your computer is the 1st place to check for the basic problems. When you open Nero, drop the video in, choose video format & VCD as output, then the conversion if any is necessary whould accur before burning & everything should be hunky dory. But there must be some step you're missing. Try using different cd-r media. Try using CD-RW. If i'm ever unsure or just checking formatting issues & refinements I always use RW; be that CD-RW/DVD-RW. I'm starting to wonder about your hardware. Have you checked to see if there's a firmware update for your burner. Firmware updates provide the newest improvements in speed & quality/performance/other improvements out of your burner hardware. Firmware updates can sometimes make your burner equivalent to the next version of burner that company releases. |
