Like many others, when I first heard about limewire, I was more than intrigued by the thought of a "No-spyware/adware" guarentee. It sounded great to use for downloading music and whatnot, so I went ahead and downloaded it. I'll say this...it's awesome ****ing software, however.....upon running McAfee pest patrol, I found over 50 different pests bundled with the software. I was wondering if maybe the Limewire staff would like to help me out in how to actually get the adware that "doesn't come" with their software out without deleting it, because I love using Limwire. However, if the adware is going to stay with the software, then I am no longer going to use it, not for personal reasons, but for security risks. Thanx for any responses.

See the search button above, press that button & type in the word pest. Then see the results. The point being that there are anti-spyware programs out there which simply don't work properly. And since visiting a spyware forum, I can tell you that pest control is one of those many listed that has major problems & doesn't work properly; it's broken. It does not have the ability to cope with magnet links that p2p sharing programs use. M$'s spyware detector program had the same bug but at least it made fixes to overcome that issue. Wherease Pest Control has been broken for about a year now & the programmers have made absolutely no effort whatsoever to fix its bugs.
