disabling new update availiable!
 

How do i disable the new update availiable! popup i have limewire pro 4.8.1 and am happy with it and want to keep it

Sorry there's no official way .... I'm sure you can do it if you understand how these things work ..... I don't.

LW claims that your version is slowing down the network, but I notice there are far older versions still being used, and I have no comment to make on that.

From what I have read in the forums, I recommend you hang on to your 4.8.1, and endure the pop up. I was getting one trying to get me to go pro, and I relented, and it was worth it, but I should stay as you are.
