Literally, Limewire will not leave me alone.

I found that after upgrading to the new Limewire, it will pop up incessantly every two minutes or so. I keep closing and exiting, but it still comes back up. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it, but the problem still occurs. It's extremely aggravating and it's gotten to the point that I have to reinstall Limewire when I want to download something, then uninstall it again after I'm done.

Help, please? Or is this something that hasn't happened to anyone else?

Have you done a virus scan on your computer? I may be wrong but it sounds like you may have a virus.

you have my same old problem. but i got an anti-virus. and what really helped me is an anti-spyware from microsoft.

Ah, okay. TeaTimer did alert me to something being changed when I was updating, but I just allowed it because it seemed legit. D'oh.
