Default Can I move all of my downloaded files to another computer?

Here's my question:
I had limewire up and running well on a computer in one room...I have recently switched computers, can I get all the files I downloaded from Limewire onto the new computer? I tried saving the files on the old computer and saving them to a CD, but they are always saving as playlists, and my Windows programs can't read them. They are listed as M3U files...what the heck is that? Needless to say, that method of transfer to the new computer did not work.
Is there a way to make this happen?

I tried searching through the previous posts, but couldn't find this issue.

Thanks

-sk

m3u files are playlist document files. They don't contain music but simply point the player to where the music files are found.

What you should do is go to LW's Library window, select the Saved Files folder & press the Explore button & this will open the downld folder up for you. Then you can drag & drop or cut/copy & paste to where ever. You can burn them from this folder. Drag & drop them onto your burner program. Your downld folder location can be found here: LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Saving which will tell you the location & directory path.

Here's what I mean by accessing your downld folder via the LW Library window; before you know it, after you press the Explore button the downld folder opens up for you in front of LW interface (as in step 3):
