![]() I get an error message when trying to install limewire. "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." My friend gets the same error message and he's on the same OS. |

![]() I have Windows XP and I've never come across any problems like that before. Did you download LimeWire from the official site? www.limewire.com |

![]() I've heard of that error message a few times. Usually it's something to do with the permissions on the account you log into XP with. Make sure your using an Administrator account under the user accounts in Control Panel. Just open Control Panel.....last option should be User Accounts......double click that and check the different accounts. If yours is there and it's not admin...change it to admin rights then you should be fine.... |
