It has nothing to do with the cable modem because it does the same thing to my computer when used at my school's wireless net.
I wonder does it have anything to do with firewalls or anything? It seems to restart when trying to connect. When I stop limewire from connecting, it doesn't reboot the computer. When it tries to connect, it gives a quick blue screen and then restarts my computer. I also have the windows firewall disabled.
I'm running through a netgear router and I set up port forwarding for limewire but still no luck.
Bearshare works. Limewire or Frostwire will not. | This is the same original problem I have. I even had my computer taken back to Best Buy, they replaced my motherboard and memory - everything (CoH, CoV, WoW all high end games) runs great EXCEPT Limewire - it restarts. |
