Incomplete Files

Hello eveyone, I am new to this forum and to LimeWire, and I need someone to anwer my question please (I am so sorry if this has been asked before!).
I was wondering how you get the music files out of the incomplete file and into the shared file. I have a program where I can make CD's but a bunch of the music that I want on the CD dosen't work because it doesn't show up on the add list (and the add list is directly from the shared file, so the incomplete files aren't going to the shared file, they just appear in red.) If someone can tell me how to get the incomplete files into the shared file I would greatly appriciate it!:)

i would suggest re-downloading the file, and completely download it, thus making it complete and in your files, i dont know why you would keep a incomplete file

Files in red in the incomplete folder are files that have lost their identification with their original source. What you can do is select them, then press the force resume button. Problem is, some of these files might only be available from one or 2 sources who might be modem users or not online very often or frequently have all their upload slots full so making it difficult connecting to them. Remember only 100% completely downlded files will go to the downld folder. Some might never get there if you can't secure good connections to them.

This might not answer your problem but will help generally: See the following link & follow “ALL” the off-shoot links to find hints & extra skills to help solve your problem: To continue files downlding (click on link)

The reason why files are in your "Incomplete" folder is because they are incomplete, i.e. some of the file is missing. If you try to use these files to create a CD you are going to waste your time and your CD/R disk.

Only use completed files to burn onto CDs.
