How do I find out my IP address?
 
could someone please tell me how I find out my Ip address so one of my friends can direct connect to browse my files?:confused:

Also in LW, on the search page click on direct connect and above the little box it will show your ip address.

If your ip address doesn't show here then it suggests your firewalls are not properly configured! Thus, you would have major problems trying to direct connect.

1. Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false then you're firewalled by either a softw firewall or a modem/router NAT firewall or other hardware or your ISP.

2. Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
