I have used LimeWire many times before but when my computer was updated everything was lost. I downloaded LimeWire again and it does something strange. The "upgrade to pro" window came up fine and so did the "tip", but when it was time for the main window to come up nothing happened. On the bottom of my screen, on the start bar, all you see is the LW icon with LimeWire as is any normal window, but when clicked on nothing happens. There is no main window that opens up.

It's starting to frustrate me completely. If anyone can help me out, please do. Thanks so much.

Try reinstalling your java. But don't install over the net, downld the "offline" installer & then install. If you install Java 1.5 & it still doesn't work, then uninstall it using add/remove control panel & install Java 1.4.2 instead. See Java links here: Fixes for Limewire
