![]() Limewire is telling me that no licenses can be found for any files that i try to download!! It's driving me insane I don't know what it means so I can't download any of the files because even when i go throught with downloading it doesn't work.. does anyone have any solutions? ![]() |

![]() I would like to know if i will get in any trouble if I download, even though there are no a ctual licenses for any of the downloads? I turned the popup off that said that there werem't any licenses and asking me if I wanted to download anyway |

![]() You might, even though the chances are very doubtful (I've read comparisons that say you have a better chance of winning the lottery or being hit by lightning). Since so little of the content people share is already licensed, you have to use your best judgement whether your country's laws allow you to share those files you find. You could ask a lawyer for the legal opinion, but they too have trouble keeping up with the changes, especially as those laws are still being tested in courts. Really though--for a legal opinion ask a lawyer. |
