Default PLEASE!!! tell me if I understand this correctly

I posted this in the open discussion forum, but nobody wants to help out here. maybe someone will help me here. PLEASE!

First, I'll start off by saying that I'm new to Limewire. Yeserday, I asked about searching for DVD files, but nobody helped me out. After doing some research on the forum and other sources, this is what I understand. Please let me know if I'm wrong.

1. Ok, if I wanted to make a DVD that included the original menu's, etc., I would need to download the .vob file, right? Well, I wasn't sure what a .vob file was so I googled it and found out this is the DVD video file. Then, I found out that in order to create a DVD using .vob files, I would also need the .ifo and .bup files. Do I really need these? Would I normally have to download them separately? It sure would suck if I did.

2. I have Nero 6. Now, if I had the .vob file, I would only be able to use it with nero express, right? Also, would I need to add the .ifo & .bup files in nero express?

3. I also have Roxio cd & dvd creator 6. If I were to download an .mpg file, I should be able to just drag & drop (or import) the file in the Roxio dvd builder and it would convert it to DVD player compatibility during the burn process, right?

4. I have read that .avi will not burn to DVD format. So I would need to convert it to mpg before making a playable DVD disc, correct?

5. This is an off-subject question. I have a cable connection. Last night I tried downloading something from a T3 user ranging from 26k-60k/sec. If I had the purchased version of Limewire, would the download speed be considerably faster than this? Any idea how much campared to my example?

I know this is long and I did not enjoy typing it, so please please please someone try to help. Thank you for you time.

I saw your post before but did not respond as I know nothing about Video.

As to your question about speed. What you have said about the speed from a T3 source is in line with my experiences, and afaik you will not get a higher speed with pro, but you will get better (ie more) connections, so you should get more search results. Each user will probably find the differences between basic and pro vary according to their use.

I wouldn't suggest downloading a movie on Limewire if there are multiple files. While you could find a .rar file or something on there I'd just download mIRC from http://www.mirc.com and then go to http://www.packetnews.com and seach for the movie you want and download it with mIRC.
