Blnk menus

I have downloaded and installed the latest Limewire 5.1.2 but whenever I try to do anyting with the menus, I just get blank menus with no text. Sometimes they appear after awhile but other times they just stay blank.

I am wondering if the version of Java Runtime Environment might have anything to do with this problem? I have Java 1.6.0_13 installed according to the application's About screen.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I'm running Windows XP MC.

How many incomplete files & how many shared files do you have? LW 5 does not handle too many of either very well.

Alternative would be to download Java 1.6_5 & see if that behaves better. Would need to uninstall 1.6_13 first. I'd also recommend running Crap Cleaner (click on Registry tab) after uninstalling that Java. For the other Java: (JRE 6u5): Archive: Download Java Platform Standard Edition (Java SE) 6u5

Thanks, I'll try the latest Java and see what happens.

I also noticed that there seemed to be 2 instances of Java installed when I looked in the Add/Remove Applications applications list which seems kinda odd. I didn't even think Java install would even allow that.
