 System Restore sometimes works. Otherwise you'll need a file recovery utility such as norton or get a free one PC Inspector File Recovery (click on link) In the meantime you'll be best to try not doing anything that writes/saves to the same partition/HDD otherwise it'll be much harder to retrieve the files.
