Default UI is screwed

Ever since I installed the newest nVidia drivers/chipset updates my ability to view my limewire is sketchy at best. It usually just shows me a blank white window. While this still allows old downloads to continue, I cannot start new searches or start new ones. If it isn't that, it is the case that there are random patches of blank text throughout. Random letters and words in downloads kind of blink in and out of existence. Anyone else have this problem?

I am rocking a AMD X2 4400+ with 2.75gigs of ram and 2 7800gts in SLI mode. For the life of me I cannot figure out why it would be bugging like this, especially since it seemed to work fine before. One day it was functional, the next it wasn't. Should I just do a graphics rollback, or could their be another issue?

I am still getting random blotchiness, IE random patches without text. It is kind of like if someone were to take random circluar shaped patches of the grey background and randomly cover up letters and words and such. I scaled my java back to 1.4.2 even. I am sure I am just doing something wrong. It is usually the case...

Same problem here. I updated the drivers because of issues with certain games and now the UI in Limewire is messed.

My hardware setup is similar. 7800GTXs in SLI, AMD 4000+ proc, 1GB RAM, Windows XP Pro SP2 and latest NVidia graphics and NF4 drivers.

Here's a link to a screenshot:

And, yes there were downloads going on at the time of the screenshot!

Good To know I am not alone on this one. I just updated the graphic driver AGAIN to the most current version. If I am EXTREMELY lucky I can get a screen like Jake, but most of the time it is just one giant mass of grey nothing in window form. Anyone, anywhere know anything about this?

In case I didn't mention before, I rolled back my java as well, so that isn't the problem.

See The way to fix the Blank screen on startup This may or may not help to fix it up. And the answer may be different for each of you. At least there's some suggestions available there.

ATT: NVIDIA users. The problem of Limewire starting up (blank screen's/and freezing) appears to lie within the video cards anti-aliasing control. Had my 6800TE set to 8xs AA, turned it off (or to application controlled) and now limewire works absolutely fine. Hope that helps.
