Sharing local network Wierd. I share my music folder on my local in house network. Everything works fine except any music files downloaded from Limewire. All mp3's play fine on host machine but only those prior to Limewire will play. I did notice that there is no information in the Id tags when shared but show up on the host PC. Would that keep those mp3's from playing if there is no information in the Id tag and why would just sharing cause there to be no information shared? You can see the files they just won't play in Winamp or WMP. |
O.A.H. I also have 2 comp network (both G4 mac osx 10.3.9), the other sees the iTunes playlist but can play the songs. Are you sure about that OAH? I guess it depends on both LW & iTunes settings on both comps. |
I will try putting some in another folder and share it and see what happens. It only affects those that have d'loaded from Limewire. |
When I copy files from the main folder to another folder they play fine. When files are d'loaded to the new folder, which is shared, they won't play on the slave machine. I just don't get this. |
