New computer, how do I reinstall old membership?
 

I want o wipe my computer clean. But I'm afraid that I might not be able to reinstall Limewire without paying again. I have no user name / password for limewire basic other than for this forum.
Does anyone know FOR SURE if/how I can reinstall the program? Do I just google limewire and it will recognize my ip adress? or am I screwing myself? should I just backup my limewire files before I wipe my computer? What is the easiest/cleanest way to do this?
p.s. I love this sharing stuff!

Sorry to hear you paid for basic to begin with. LimeWire Basic is free to use as long as you want. If it were me I wouldn't Goggle it the first choices that pop-up when you Goggle it are scam sites. And they will charge you for a free program. Why don't you right down the URL below then you can go to the official site when you rebuild and get it for free.

I'm using windows XP, cable modem, pentium 4 2.8, and a poser for a user, i.e. I can barely find my own heiny with two hands but wish I could.
