Well, the problem is I didnt see any winupdates in the prefetch file or winupdate.exe in the task manager and i didnt see 100% comp usage. wtf? do i have the virus or not? please reply ASAP. any help is appreciated. Also, how can i get back at the guy who infected me?

You might have to make your post a bit clearer. I'm guessing you downloaded a pgm which was infected?? If you think you've got a virus, run an antivirus scan. Spyware & adware scans might be a good idea, too.

well ive already tried like 5 antivirus scan so that isnt it. actually i used norton and ive heard it doesnt detect the virus. ill try the spyware and adware thing as well. oh yeah i think i have the an worm cus alt-ctrl-del doesnt work so yeah i really dont know much about computers. heh guess im screwed

I used McAfee and this worm thing shows up and so i got this program to eliminate it. hoorah! but just in case...

ill just write down what the virus was anyway. and the weird porgram.
