I will have to correct myself it wasn't a file connected to dvdsanta it was an avi file that was corrupt, dvdsanta closed itself down when I went to burn the file, I have now deleted the file and all is well again. I also did a Bitzi lookup on it and it reported that the file was corrupt. I thought I should clear it up....

I am having the same problems. But more so. Other media players won't play certain files. But it is TV as well. Right now, I can't d/l The 4400's latest 2 episodes. I've tried something like 6 different files. They d/l fine, but crash the explorer and the media player when I try to play them.

Another thing I noticed was that if I view the explorer as thumbnails, I can tell which file is corrupted as it won't show anyhting but the media player icon.

I had the same thing happen with some mid season 7 West Wings. Eventually, it all straightened out.

Very bizarre.

good to hear i,m not the only one. My problem is that i,ll download a movie it plays fine and when i let it run all the way to the end my computer shuts down and i get the scary blue screen with white writing. i usually restart and delete the file. This has happened about 6 times.

I used to type in movie titles to search, now i type in either dvd quality or dvdrip and have found better results, also check all files with you anti virus software, and Periwinkle79 you are correct about housecall, i use pccillin on my computer and used housecall all the time now i can't, greedy buggers.

I think downloading movies is a bit hit and miss and you should preview the movie after about 5% download that usually gives you enough time to see the quality.
