Default copy righted files?

ive been told that its illegal to download copy righted files off limewire, is this true? if so for limewire basic is it true for limewire pro? and is there a download fee(for each track)on limewire pro?

There's no fees for downlding files other people are sharing. That's what this is all about! p2p = peer to peer. Sharing from one person to another. It does NOT include downlding from a site.

LW has no control over what you downld. If you choose to downld copyright files then do it at your own risk. There's still lots of files that aren't copyright. But you need to know about them to know if they're copyright or not. Lots of music bands use p2p as a way to spread their music. Same thing applies for other types of downlds. Whether you're interested in that material is up to you.
