Default Limwire 4.10.5 trouble.

Hey,

I have this trouble with Limewire, i have downgraded, upgraded, did everything, everyone told me to, but is still the same.

When i download something, the speed is either at 0kbps or 1kbps, 2kbps if i am lucky. This just happened a couple of days ago. How do i fix this?

are you by any chance in college dorm or similar where thy may have decideded to curb the use of bandwith by p2p traffic?

Have you made any changes to your system that might have caused a change.

btw if you still do need help please give us a useful description of your equipment etc... including your isp ... details of routers and so on

No i do not live in a college dorm. i haven't made any changes, except my sister installed Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta. and that's is it.

i have no routers, but a modem.

System:

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002, Service Pack 2

AMD Athlon XP 2000+

1.68 GHz 192MB of RAM

how to i check my ISP address?

My modem connection is 2.2MBps. T1 i think.

my modem internet connection is ISDN channel - Speedtouch USB ADSL PPP

and the Modem type is Thomson Speedtouch 330.

but anymore information you need?

I even disabled the firewall, but no luck

Take a look at this link ... I have not read it thoroughly but it looks relevant.

By your isp .. I mean the company you pay for your internet connection .. Are you in UK with Tesco or NTL? ...educated guess
