Files are going red...

When i download a file , the name of it is in gray , but when i either quit the program or turn of the computer the next time i come back into it , there written in red! and down the bottom where it says how many files you have , it always resets itself to 0 , help me please!

File names in red mean they're not being shared. Right click on file, choose 'share file' & they will go to black.

If your number down the bottom is zero, you're not sharing any files:D

See here for how to share folders:

I also had the same problem.

Under my saved folder a few files were red , well i accidently deleted them (they were word documents).

Is there anyway to recover those files??

I'm not sure what you've done, but how about redownlding them if they were not complete files anyway. If they were complete files, then see the Stickies in the Open Discussion section.

Thanks for the advice.

The file that i lost was a word document, but it was no big deal. I am sure i have it somewhere else on my computer or on disk.
