Ever since I got my new machine, I've had issues with Limewire. Quick, I was downloading, worked good, got a new machine, moved HD over as it was just a file HD with no OS on it. Kept the same directory of incompletes, installed Lime and ok, dls some files but had some crashing issues. But worse, in the folder it says the file is 700 MB and in Limewire will show 2% complete. The file is corrupted and doesn't play or doesn't play right either.

Not sure, but does it have to do with sometimes Limewire will basically... crash, but still be running. It's still downloading and uploading based on my modem lights. Task managers lists it as responding. But it won't show on the screen or atleast won't refresh. I will end task sometimes for doing that. Maybe Lime has issues there and can't mark the file properly? Though, Last night I installed the latest, .9 I believe and it didn't permanently crash yet, but it's still having issues pulling up files and showing them at 2% when size wise, they're completed.

Machine spec
Xp sp2 update on Automatic updates
amd 3700 with pwr saving feature
Asus a7N, I think, mobo.
1 Sata 250 GB (Programs installed here but not on the C root.)
1 IDE 250 (files downloaded on a partition here)
2 GB ram
Latest Java installed of 1.5 I believe.
Checked the faqs on how to fix if not running properly and whatnot.

I've removed all files in my incomplete folder several times. I've uninstalled reinstalled several times. I cleared out all cocs and sets and incomplete docs prior to installing .7 Frankly, I'm a little annoyed and would like some help as to what steps I need to take before I attempt to do anything else on my own.


It did work fine on my previous machine of an intel 2.4 512 MB ram, windows 2000 sp4 with the same IDE 250 GB.
