Which media player - Windows or Real 1 Attachment(s) Hello my friends, Well, after my fiasco with the home theater system, at least now I look for the ones that are CDR-CDR+W compatible. I just never thought about that one before. Another case of "fool me once......and so on." I use Nero for my burning. I was loath to make WMP my player because of the problems playing music that I downloaded. I use Nero as my default but have problems with running streams from other sites. I've used Real before, but then again, I wasn't using it for my own CD-R's. Also, will Windows transfer to my burning program Nero? Nero just doesn't play the streams of music if I want to listen on Download.com before doing a free download from there or elsewhere. And you know darned well that Windows will not accept some of my personal downloads. Can anyone of you wonderful people offer a suggestion here? Oops, and BTW I will NOT buy a Sony CD system! Thanks for any help with this.;) |
Player For streaming video or audio, I have a few options on my system (Mac OSX), but still most the same options are for windows also that I use. One is VLC - (click on link) as this plays video & a high no. of audio formats as well. To see the formats it can play, see http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html The great thing about VLC is it has in-built codecs. For other audio streaming, I also use iTunes. There's another but is strictly a mac program. |
