You have GOT to be kidding me So I just installed Limewire, recomended by a freind of mine. Then at first I ask it to search my stuff for things to share and I let it. Then a change my mind, don;t want to share anything yet, so I start to "delete" things, thinking that all that means is that they will be removed from the list, not my COMPUTER, now Ive lost some files very important to me, they do not apear in my trash an I can;t find anything like "Limewire trash". What is this! |
see http://gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=49851 I'm afraid you have deleted the files but you may be aable to get them back |

O no, yeah, Im not hogging files that others would want. They are my own stuff, like notes and random things, not anything youd want in the first place :) |
So I wasnt able to find anything but I did quikly scan my folder and I guess it seems like nothing horribly pertinent is missing, I sort of opperate under the optosistic beleif that If I accidenlt deleted them I probably didn't need them anymore anyway. Thanks for trying though! |
Ouch! That could have been nasty. If a new user shares the Documents folder, and then mistakenly starts deleting using the Library's nasty little delete button, then there would be trouble. I really wish that delete button would follow familiar practise and "move to trash" rather than permanently deleting files. What other user app does automatic deletes? |
