Ok, well since I last posted I have updated my PC.

It is now XP SP2, 2.8GHz, 256MB vid card and 1GB RAM.

And I STILL get the exact same when trying to run limewire, even though it is a totally different PC.

So does anybody else have any further suggestions?

Did you buy a new PC or did you rebuild the one you had

It's a brand new one. Only bought it around a week ago.

Have you added any programs to it since you purchased it. It appears that a program may have a conflict with Java.

A few, things such as a web browser, a few messengers, media players and a few games.

Not too many programs though.

Still just the same. I'm using nVidia 6200SE, if you wanted to know.

I don't understand why it shouldn't be working, pretty much every application that appears to use java is exactly the same.

If it is a conflict in java, like you said earlyer, how would I go about fixing that?

I am also running nVidia 6200 so I don't thing it is a graphics issue but you might want to check and make sure you have the latest drivers.but I really don't think that is the problem. You can try uninstalling the software you have added one at a time. If any of them are causing the problem it should clear it up.
