Hey, i've already asked someone about this problem but was hoping to get a second opinion. When i open limewire, it works for about 3-5 minutes or so, but then after that my internet doesn't work and oh course limewire disconnects. i go to my router and unplug it and then plug it in again and it starts to work, but after a couple of minutes it fails again. i tried getting a new router but it does that same thing. is there something i can do with limewire so that my internet and limewire doesn't get disconnected anymore?

Try disabling ultrapeer capabilities (tools > options > speed. Apply to save a change). Reduce your upload & download bandwidth a bit. Don't try to download a lot at once... limit your downloads to one or two files at a time.
