LimeWire has encountered a problem and needs to close This is a real wierd problem. I'm using Limewire Pro, and it has worked fine for me for over six months. All of a sudden, when I tried to open it last week, it wouldn't open. It gave me this nasty error message; LimeWire has encountered a problem and needs to close ... I restarted my computer, and things seemed to go back to normal. Limewire Pro worked. Then, after two days, it happened again. Now, even restarting my computer doesn't do the trick. It's just not starting up, always saying the same thing. I checked %AppData% and found that there is no directory for Limewire, which is wired. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Limewire PRO, with no luck. Any help? |
Problem Solved; I changed Limewire compatability to Windows 2000 ( i just don't know why it had always worked fine before??) |
limewire has encountered a proble Problem not Solved for me. Could you please tell me how to change Limewire compatability to Windows 2000? Thanks. abk |
Go to the program location, right-click on the LimeWire program & choose compatibility. BTW some people have also had success by choosing windows NT instead. |
Although WHY this works still baffles me. |
As long as it works! lol :D ;) |
