2 big issues I need help with please:

1) The Programs folder in my Library keeps filling up with zip folders of 522.5kbs!

2) It seems that every time I d/l an .avi then go to open it I get a few pop-ups AND it nevers seems to be what I've intended to d/l.

Can anyone help me out with these please?

Hi there.

Sorry for the delay in response because I did not want to log onto the Net with this problem in my computer.

My computer has been invaded by a Trojan called……

IRC/BackDoor.SdBot.MYX

Located in…..

C:\oo.exe.

I suspect it came in a file I downloaded thru LimeWire (the free version of Zone Alarm did not detect it though) because at some stage Limewire kept starting by itself all the time.

I really want to use LimeWire again but after uninstalling it I keep getting a popup message. See below for test. The message seems to relate to the first version of LW I downloaded, but had since upgraded to version 4.12, which is the version I’ve now uninstalled.

I don't want to re-install it (as the popup window suggests) until I get rid of the Trojan. I used the “CleanUp40” tool in safe mode and that gets rid of it at first, but it keeps reappearing a short later (usually when rebooting/starting computer the next time).

As a reaction to all this I bought Zone Alarm Security Suite 6, but it won't let me install it due to a “problem”. I suspect it's related to this **** Trojan.

Further help will be most appreciated.

BTW, the email addy the popup window suggests to report the bug doesn't not seem to work. My report keeps getting bounced back.
