 set file permissions? When I start up limewire and while it is running, I get these pop-ups from limewire stating "LimeWire was unable to write a necessary file because you do not have the necessary permissions. Your preferences may not be maintained the next time you start LimeWire, or LimeWire may behave in unexpected ways." What do I need to do to keep this from popping up all the time. I am tired of clicking OK!!! Everything still runs just fine, its just an annoyance. It does this all the time, even if it is idle in my system tray.  |

| Go to add/remove programs & remove your old version of Java. Now reinstall Java using the offline installer here http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp Delete your LW preferences folder when LW is closed. Instructions here Fixes for LimeWire See if that fixes things! |
