Click a Folder and desktop disapeers!
 

The orignal problem was that there was a silver like background surrounding each icon, obvyously was not normal (but could anyone tell me what the grey boxes were??), so I was able to fix that portion of the problem, now my main problem is that whenever I open a folder my desktop "disapeers and then restarts" what hapends is whenever I open a folder, it will make the desktop blank (for about 5 sec.) and then start the desktop again, but the folder will not open, I wanted to know is this a virus or something wrong that I'm doing! please help~!

(btw here are pictures as to what happends to my desktop!)

So Could anyone explain to me what is happening with my computor??

Have you set your graphics card to application controlled if you haven't you might want to do that.

... how do you do that??
