Default Sharing MP3

Hi, I would just like to know how you actually share music with LW for others to download. Like to put music from a cd into the LW share field. Thanks.

Brandon

Can iTunes rip songs from CD's? I've always used WMP to rip songs.

Unfortunatly, no. Believe me, you would know if I had it because I would need a lot of help figuring out how to work it and guess who I'd go to for help!

Well I will be using WMP to rip them because I have ripped before. Once I rip them and go in LW to share them, can I delete the folder that I ripped the songs to or do I have to leave it on my computer? Thanks a lot!

Which folder is that? The one WMP creates to put your ripped songs into? If that's what you mean then you don't have to keep it if the songs are no longer in there.

I don't know what folder it rips to. Way back when I used to rip all my CD's to my computer and they just stored in my WMP Library as far as I know. Can I have some more info?

When I rip CD's with WMP, it creates a folder in my My Music folder. The next time you rip a CD, check there for the folder.

And then if it creates it there, I share that from LW. Can I delete that folder from my computer then or does it have to stay?

If you're using that folder to share your LimeWire files then no but if you create a new folder for your LimeWire music and move all of the files into that new folder then you can delete it.
