MP3 format I am just learning to download and burn CD's , however when I burn they will not play on my CD player is this because they were all downloaded in the MP#3 format ? Is there anyway to change this or will I simply have to erase the CD and do it all over again ? Thanks - |
1. Burning an audio CD from your MP3's; choose audio cd format, not mp3 format! Your burner will do the necessary conversion. ;) 2. Burn you CD's using the minimum speed your burner & disks allow. If you have high speed disks, then perhaps you should try the slower ones that burn to 16 speed. Some stereo cd players & car players don't like cd's burnt at high speeds or high speed disks. Some are also brand fussy. Best to choose well known brands even if they cost a little more ... they will last a lot longer for a start. 16 speed disks burnt at 4 or 8 speed are usually reliable! ;) |
Thank You I am trying your suggestions now, hopefully I did it right. Thanks again for the help . Cyndee |
Burnign CD's 4 did not work so I am trying 2 |
Txcn7282 Just one other thing, remember to burn your music onto CD/R discs, not CD/RW. Some domestic players (particularly the older ones) will not play music burned onto CD/RW discs but all players will work with most "named" brands of CD/Rs. UK Bob |
